Diptych with Chiasmus No. 2 (Silverleaf)
16"x20" acrylic on panel
A derivation from several existing works: Driptych, Goldleaf/Silverleaf and Knockoffs. Chiasmus is the reversed rhetorical device, such as Kennedy's popular phrase "ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country". This pair is its visual equivalent. Etymologically, it also means "X structure or criss-cross, and the drips are placed that way.
